Sam's Rule no.6

I was reading a case on Wall Mart today and came across the ten Rules of Sam Walton, the founder of Wall Mart world's biggest retailer ,was really influenced by Rule no. 6 so thought of sharing it .

Rule 6:Celebrate your success.Find some humor in your failures.Don't take yourself so seriously.Loosen up and everybody around you will loosen up.Have fun.Show enthusiasm -always.When all else fails, put on a costume and sing a silly song. Then make everybody else sing with you.Don't do a hula on Wall street. It's been done .Think up your own stunt. All of this is more important and more fun, than you think and it really fools the competition."why should we take those corn balls at Wall-Mart seriously?"- Sam Walton

  3. i agree with what he says but at times it's not necessary that whatever proved to be a stress buster and productive in a stalwart's life, might turn out to beneficial in a similar manner in ours too . for every successful person out there, there are a hundred of them who would have done the same thing and maybe a little bit better but people will always look upto the one who shines out. that doesn't mean that the steps taken or the methodologies adopted were always right . juts my perspective on not blindly following anyone . keep writing
