Be yourself

Last few days have reminded me of George Orwell’s novel ‘1984 ‘ which introduced the concept of Big brother and  everyone in the state was watched by the government authorities, they could  make do people whatever they want to, abolish past records, even abolish records of people and eliminate the proof of their existence. There was no freedom to press and media. Most of things were pretended, it was done immaculately in such a way that people could not even think that things have been made up to make an illusion .In today’s world we direct our actions on the basis of facts available which are often true rather than fabricated but sometimes people around us do pretend to create an illusion and confuse others between real and fabricated things. Obviously it is to serve their own purpose which can be either to protect their own image or to achieve something secretively. I just want to say such people stop being something else, for once try being yourself.

  1. Nice Article. As my OB professor will tell, People wear masks to avoid cognitive dissonance. The question is 'what kind of mask are you wearing today?'
